Divorce consultation

Divorce consultation

  1. Why is it so hard to divorce normally?

Life often puts our relationships to the test, and it’s hard to ask for help, especially when the most important of our relationships is in crisis — our relationship. But you better know that no lasting relationship exists without some confusion and conflict. There are real challenges in every ideal relationship, it’s your decision what to do with it.

Once you have made the decision to divorce, you need to clarify a lot of issues, so this form of consultation is the most mixed. In one hand it is family consultation, but it has individual coaching and relationship counseling elements as well.  It’s key to see how your relationships works, to recognize your own actions and see your reasons, sometimes it’s efficient to take a step back. I will support your communication methods in order to say peaceful goodbye.

  2. Consultation sessions

At the first session, we will talk casually, introduce ourselves, discuss the framework of our cooperation, and discuss your basic difficulties. Our sessions will be 90 minutes long and usually will take place every two weeks. Working together with you as a couple / family, we will get to the root of the problem and think about possible solutions.

If you have already made the decision to divorce, we will focus to decrease the difficulties and conflicts as little as possible.

If you are already divorced or you are in the process of getting a divorce, but as a parent still you want to have a healthy, conflict-free relationship with your children and you want to divorce best as you can, this will be our central theme.

  3. When should you contact me?
    • If you feel that the struggle for your relationship has already been abandoned by one of you and you have decided to divorce
    • If you cannot agree on important quesions for the future, communication will not work due to a conflict of interest
    • If intensity of your emotions is very high (anger, pain, frustration), you can’t discuss even the most basic things
